We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant who is skilled in both clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients
- Take vitals, medical histories, and document in EMR
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests (as permitted)
- Manage phone calls, scheduling, and patient follow-ups
- Process referrals, authorizations, and medical records
- Ensure patient workflow runs smoothly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
- Previous clinical experience: 3 years of experience in a specialty practice setting
- Strong EMR skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, professional, and reliable
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
